We are very pleased that the Hypomeeting Götzis was recognized in the category Sports Event at the Green Events Austria Conference and the “nachhaltig gewinnen!” awards! 🏆🌱 

 On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Green Events Austria, representatives from across the country came together to reflect on how sustainable event management is practiced today – and to discuss the future of Green Events in Austria. 

Meeting director Alexandra Giesinger contributed her expertise in the table sessions, which explored, among other things, whether the concept of “Green Events” has truly taken root in Austrian sports. 

It was an inspiring day featuring personalities from sports, culture, and environmental management, e.g.
Anita Malli (Head of Environment and Sustainability, ORF Group), Roswitha Stadlober (President, Austrian Ski Federation), Sandra Reichel (Tournament Director, Upper Austria Ladies Linz), Anna Fras (Sustainability Officer, Diagonale Film Festival), Jörg Neumayer (Organizer, Donauinselfest), Regina Preslmair (BMLUK), and Dieter Brosz (BMWKMS). 

We are proud to be part of this movement and to set an example for responsible and sustainable organization of major sports events with the Hypomeeting Götzis.
