Werner Ströhle, one of the founders and visionaries of the Hypomeeting Götzis, was honored by Vorarlberg's Governor Markus Wallner for "exemplary social achievements" in the form of the "Grosses Verdienstzeichen des Landes Vorarlberg" at a ceremony on March 17, 2023.
The honorary president of the Association for the Promotion of Athletics is thus given the highest recognition of the State of Vorarlberg for his voluntary commitment to the Hypomeeting Götzis.
We thank you, dear Werner, for your extraordinary commitment and your achievements since the organization of the 1st Hypomeeting in 1975 - for the event itself, but also for athletics and sports far beyond Vorarlberg and Austria!
