Intermediate status
In the ranking of all-around events, the Hypomeeting leads the current event ranking with 10664 points.
The following are taken into account
- the results (result scores) of the top 8 finishers from the decathlon and heptathlon together,
- as well as the quality of the starting field ("Participation Score"),
which results from the respective world rankings of the 8 highest-ranked participants.
The European Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn (NED) came second in the event ranking with 10197 points and the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing (CHN) came third with 9959 points.
This year's result is therefore better than, for example, the 2008 Olympic Games (Beijing) or the 2013 World Championships (Moscow) and 2017 World Championships (London).
So far, the Hypomeeting has won this ranking once: in 2018, the Hypomeeting scored 10558 points, ahead of the European Championships in Berlin (10408) and the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham (10171).
